ASH Class News!
Art
Ash class have been busy in term 5 working on their Henry Matisse inspired artwork. They learned all about complementary colours and how to tear and cut paper free hand (without drawing first). They also explored how to deconstruct images from nature in order to create abstract art. Their final piece was a collage inspired by 'Les Bêtes de la Mer' (The Beasts from the Sea). The children worked really hard and created some amazing work
Multiskills Festival
The Ash class pupils had a brilliant time participating in a range of agility, balance, and coordination activities at the KLB Multiskills festival!
Trip to the STEAM Museum
Ash class enjoyed a fantastic day at the STEAM museum to learn more about their term 3 enquiry – why was Brunel brilliant?
They learnt all about Victorian life and his amazing engineering feats!
